OUR STORY
Aldena was born from a friendship rooted in design and a shared appreciation for detail. Before going into business together, Jessie and Kenneth collaborated on projects for clients, where they witnessed firsthand the dedication and artistry each brought to their work. What set their partnership apart was not only the strength of their individual disciplines but the way they each understood the other’s craft.
As an interior designer, Kenneth often styled spaces with floral arrangements, knowing how much they shaped mood and atmosphere. Jessie, while rooted in florals, had long explored interior styling, refining his eye for scale, texture, and flow within a room. This natural crossover deepened their respect for one another and revealed how seamlessly their talents could merge.
Out of this foundation grew Aldena, a name that honors both partners and represents their unified vision. Since merging their styles, Aldena has brought to life wedding spaces that reflect each couple’s vision, created floral statements for corporate gatherings, and designed private homes with an eye for both structure and detail. With dual expertise in interiors and florals, Jessie and Kenneth craft experiences where every detail is considered, every space is elevated, and every moment is made to last.
ABOUT JESSIE
Jessie, a California native, discovered his passion for floral design as a teenager while working in a neighborhood flower shop. Over the years, he refined his artistry by collaborating with leading designers on large-scale events, developing a reputation for creativity, detail, and an instinct for beauty. In 2015 he founded Petals on the Fleur, a studio celebrated for bespoke floral arrangements that capture both elegance and emotion.
Beyond florals, Jessie cultivated a natural interest in interiors, often styling spaces with the same precision and imagination he brings to arrangements. His understanding of proportion, texture, and flow allows him to see how flowers can complete a room just as much as furniture or art.
Today, as Founding Partner and Principal Floral Designer of Aldena, Jessie brings this dual perspective to every project. Whether crafting the romance of a wedding, styling a corporate event, or elevating a private residence, his work blends artistry and vision to create experiences that feel both timeless and personal.
ABOUT KEN
Kenneth began his career in interior design, where he developed a refined eye for architecture, space planning, and detail. His work has always centered on creating environments that balance beauty with function, transforming spaces into experiences that elevate everyday living. Over time, his interiors practice became known for its thoughtful approach and the ability to capture both character and atmosphere.
Alongside this foundation, Kenneth carried a lifelong passion for florals, inspired by the hydrangeas that surrounded his childhood home in Georgia. What began as a personal love of flowers grew into a natural extension of his design practice, as he often incorporated floral styling into interiors to bring energy, softness, and emotion into a room. Through this exploration, he came to see how florals and interiors share the same language of proportion, color, and movement.
Today, as Co-Founder and Creative Director of Aldena, Kenneth unites his dual expertise in interiors and florals to craft spaces that feel layered, refined, and alive. Whether designing the flow of a wedding, styling a corporate event, or curating the details of a private home, his vision ensures that every project reflects intention, artistry, and lasting impact
